I had a turbo snail kick off and the hermits were feeding on it when this little guy showed up to join the feast. No idea what it is or how it got in there. Is it safe to leave in?

Dove snail (Columbellidae sp.). These small, highly variable, beneficial snails rarely hitchhike into aquariums, are good algae eaters (their small size allows them to access areas larger snails cannot), and reproduce quickly. These are often misidentified as Maculastrombus maculatus (once Strombus maculatus). They also lay circular egg cases.
