Somehow got this star in my tank, please help id!

I assume it got in the tank hitchhiking on some coral I got from a local reefer. It's the only one I have seen so far, it's about the size of a #2 pencil eraser. Please help id, thanks very much!

Well he is the only one I have seen so far so hopefully they don't become a nuisance, however I think 1 or a couple would be really neat as long as they don't negatively impact anything. What do they eat?

They eat coraline algae too. And they reproduce singally so yo will have more. But they don't bother anything in my system.

I had the black back ones hade to get a clown shrimp to get rid of them they ate my zoas. I'd keep an eye on your corals if ya got any.

Ya they were colored but the bottoms were white had both kinds that seemed to mainly move around at night. Little buggers. Just food for thought though
