Something ate my new Frag

Got this frag Wednesday checked it today and something had been eating it.

I'm thinking that hermit to the right looks guilty... Lol ideas?

That happened to me once. I figured a snail stopped and took a nap on it.

From the pic it's hard to tell if its recession, but the two edges look like they're receding now regardless of what happened. Could something have dropped on top of it?

Could it have broken and fallen to the bottom? The break looks pretty clean.

Well looks like it was a break. Well now I have two frags lol both have eyes on them.
