Something strange in my overflow...

So I was poking around in the overflow, and I feel something not familiar. It feels like possibly a cluster of zoas, small soft beads. I take a look and it kind of does look like that, but larger than zoas, with dark red coloration. I let them be for a couple hours to see if they'd pop back out if they were some type of polyp, but they didn't. Still just little bead looking things. I gave them a poke while looking to see any reaction, no reaction. Any ideas?

I though that too but they don't feel spongey, just soft and slimy, coral-y if you will lol
