Getting ready to make another batch of homemade food and wanted to add spirulina powder this time. I was just curious if there is any kind of ratio to go by when mixing the powder with the food? Probably going to have 3-4 pounds of food and the bottle I ordered is 8 ounces of powder. Any feedback would be appreciated!

From what I'm reading use a small amount.
I would say no more than 3 ounces to the fish food.
I've never used it in my fish food. You perked my interest.

Yeah I’ve seen lately a lot of people add it to their food and I’ve got larger angels and tangs that might benefit from it. So you’re saying 3 ounces is enough for 3-4 pounds of food?

I've seen anywhere from 0.2% of the feed weight up to 3% of the feed weight being the "ideal" range dependent on species - I'd probably try to keep it in that range, so for 4 lbs of food, the range would be from ~0.128 oz to ~1.92 oz.

Awesome I’ll shoot for that thank you for the advice!
