Wondering if I’m able to cut one stalk of the Xenia and reef glue it to another plank or whatever they’re called?

Yea should be viable. At most just hard to work with 1. You* could put it on a frag plug or shell or anything

I have 2 xenias and one of them has 3 stalks, I really wanted to cut one and put it on another surface.

It’s a first time experience but I went for it and I’ll be waiting some time for the foot to attach itself to the rock with support.

You can glue some rubble around it and it will spread naturally. Pop off the piece of rubble and you have it fragged.

Soft corals can be a bit of a challenge to frag and glue. Depending on the soft coral it is typically recommended to put rubble near it, let it spread, then remove the rubble as your frag. Works well I have found.

How I have fragged my Xenia, which was totally accidental, is that parts of the Xenia broke off of the large clump and found somewhere on the sandbed with no flow to attach to the sand and I just glued the sand onto a frag. Hoping to do the same thing once I start fragging zoas
