I've got hundreds of pineapple sponges growing in my tank. And while I know they are good for filtration they are sapping my nutrients from my corals and anemone. Is there a way to get rid of them a bit quicker than waiting for them to cycle out? I want colorful corals back in my tank again.

They will go by themselves- nothing to do

Are you overfeeding? A population boom is usually the result of an abundance of food/nutrients. Pretty sure they aren't sapping any nutrients from your corals though, I have a good number of sponges in my sump and my corals are still doing great
