spongodes monti feeding tentacles

ive never seen this before but are these the feeding tantacles?

It's very hard to tell from the pictures, but they could be hydroids. I hope not.

not hydroids... but do spongodes even have feeding tantacles? because it could of just been some kind of slime from another coral or somthing...
 
Never seen feeding tentacles on my spongodes... don't think it has them.
 
hmmmm i wonder what it was then... i should of popped on the lights and got a better picture last nite..
 
Sometimes when sps corals get stressed they will secrete a slime, could be what is going on. It is a bit hard to tell from the pic.
 
thats what it looked like, ive been raising the mag level to get rid of bryopsis.. could this have caused the slime secretion?
