Springer Blue Damsel Possible Jumper :(

Hello everyone! Is there anyone here that has had experience with Springer Blue Damsels? I think mine may have taken a jump as I can't find it anywhere in my tank and I've searched the surrounding area to no avail. Are they known jumpers?

Damsels aren't "jumpers" the way, for instance, wrasses tend to be - but the only fish I know of that _can't_ jump are seahorses.

I've had fish vanish within the tank, as cleanup crew can be pretty efficient, and I've had fish vanish outside the tank, because my son keeps dogs.

We have dogs too and that was my thought after I got down and looked everywhere:(

Well, I have seen a movie once with jumping seahorses :p

The Springerii or Marbled damsels or any kind of damsel will do so now and then to take the jump.
Hence every fish will jump :(
Just think about this where these fish come from they are free to jump as in 99.99999999999999% they end up back into the water.
Now in our glass boxes that can be different and the fish just don't know.
Damsels can hide pretty good too.
I had about 10 springerii damsels in a open frag tank with plenty of hiding places but I have seen them jumping, lucky it was a LARGE frag tank as they ended back up in there.
How long ago did you add this Sprigerii?
Any other fish in the tank?
Does you light come on a set schedule?
What size is your tank?
Do you plan on going to the McKinney October fest this year?
Any pics of your tank?
What kind of food you feed your fish?

I added it about a month ago
I have a Maroon Clown, 2 Engineer Gobys and a Yellow Tang and they have all been getting along well. They are all small at this point and our tank is a 50 Gallon...We plan on moving the tang, clownfish and the Springer(if it's still in there hiding) to our larger tank as they grow.
If I'm off from work I will be there!
We feed Mysis, some flake and algae pellets plus sea weed clipped for the Tang.

Hopefully you'll find your Springerii as they are one of the interesting damsels as not the most interesting damsel

I found my.pretty little fish. Sadly, it was white and on the bottom of the tank :( No clue what happened. The water is ship shape stats and flow wise...
I went to Blondie tonight. Will def try to make it up to Oktoberfest. I live right down the road from the square.

Keep a eye out on the other fish as it's possible that a bug might have slipped in your tank.

Not sure about Springer Blue Damsels, but blue damsel could jump out of tank with 1 inches height on top.
