springeri dottyback

Hi I have recently just got a springeri dottyback. I have noticed that my flame angel seems to be having some aggression towards it. Will this change in time and should he eventually be able to hold his own. From what I had researched before getting it they were pretty tough fish. He has selected the back cornet of the tank for now and hides when the flame angel comes near. I was hoping he would cruise the rock work in the tank.

How long have you had the dottyback? They are pretty tough, though for dottybacks on the peaceful side of the scale. Both the angel and the dottyback claim the rockwork as their own territory. Usually it gets better, but not always. As long as no significant damage is being afflicted, then it should be ok.

I have only got it 2 days ago. No damage at all that I can see just chasing and hiding

In that case, I would expect the angel's behavior to begin to improve.
