Alright you SPS nuts, lets see the eyecandy.
Only got a few, and nothing all that uncommon, but here you go:
Acropora chesterfieldensis (as neon as a highlighter marker in person!! canon wouldn't capture it)
Wild "Superman" Montipora danae
heres a couple:
I don't even know what some of these are
tort of some sort
A purple polyp birdsnest
got a new digi yesterday hope it stays this color!!!! i put it next to my orange plate so you could tell how pink it is
sweet guys and gals...keep them coming! I am trying to get some sps ideas for when I upgrade the lighting...I am looking for a couple super sweet looking frags to showcase the tank!
Here is A.Tenuis that I have been growing out for 3 yrs from a 1/2 in frag.It was green and now yellow with pink on the tips of the new growth. I tried to capture the light pink tips but could not get them to glow like in person.
Can anyone tell me what this is?
Check out this site it has alot of pics to help id everything. It looks like a A.nana.
Thanks for the link.
ORA Blue Tort frag from the swap
Jon that thing looks mighty bleached.I looks like a cali tort is this the new ORA tort or the old one that has green polyps?
i'm pretty sure the cali tort and the ORA tort are the same thing.
but yeah, that looks severely bleached. what color are the polyps?
Not bleached, that's the metering on my camera(for reference, it is on the top of a dark green rubber piece from a rose holder). It is vibrant blue in person, but directly lighted and it drives my camera crazy. If anyone knows how to adjust it, please let me know. I can't get a decent pic of my chesterfieldensis either, it is neon green/yellow in person and looks like a bleached yellow in my pics.
Forgot to mention, the polyps are the same color blue as the rest of it.
Your are right I meant Oregan Tort.
