Went to a local pet store yesterday that has a good saltwater fish section and a small coral section. The usual saltwater knowledgeable girl wasn’t there, but I grabbed this piece for $20. Thoughts of what it is?

Looks like a finger leather or Pocillopora. Does it have a stony skeleton?
