Sps loosing color

The coral pro could be causing an alk swing as well if your not testing or wc regularly or manually dosing.

Can you double check the phosphate with another test kit from another reefer? I had my SPS bleach on a 9 month old setup. Lack of nutrients. I ended up turning off the skimmer, removing macro algae and feeding unrinsed frozen food until color came back.

What are your water parameters? Especially Nitrate, Phosphate, and Alkalinity.

Add Calcium and Magnesium to that list. Coraline Algae (Is purple) and thrives off of calcium. I would bet that may be out of whack. Also has their been any swings. SPS like stable parameters. So make sure to do things slowly.

Wow my bad. The thread didn't update. I would agree with the fellas above and double check phosphates and start dosing AA and trace elements.
