Hello all, I got this sps, not really knowing what it was, then finding out it was an millipora. When I got him he had his polyps out for about 2 days, then retracted them and has been retracted for about 2-3 weeks. He started to turn green, so I made sure the par was at least 300, it’s about 380. Water is as follows, alk - 9, mag - 1380, Ca - 420. Nitrate -5. Phosphate around 0. Didn’t know if anyone would be able to help, would love to get into sps world, have tried before and had the same thing. Any ideas would be great! (Flow is also medium to strong)

Picture was taken today as light (ai prime) is ramping down.

How do you measure your par? I don't believe AI Prime can put out that much par. How many primes do you have? What size is the tank?

I had one of my reefing buddy’s come over and give me an idea. He had a par meter, good I do not know, but had one nevertheless. And I know this isn’t the best way, I also try to check with my phone using a par app. I know a lot of people hate that but gives an idea. And for the ai prime being able to put out enough par, I have no idea, I’m still trying to figure out the whole lighting world.
