Hey guys, Just wanted to share my DIY stand and sump setup that I have not really seen before.
Let me know what you guys think! I would love to hear the criticisms and why what i'm doing is odd.
For me this works!
My stand started off something like this
Below are some pictures of my stand and the right side of my sump which is a 20g tank with a 5g tank inside of it acting as a refugium.
On the left side, connnected by PVC and a simple siphon is a 55g tank with a 10g tank as a refugium. The water siphons from the 20 to the 10 to the 50.
This lets my macro algae and mangroves get all the flow and filtration they need.
Both refugiums have a sand bed however, the 10g has a bed of mud under the sand for the mangroves.
I dont have great overall shots of my display tank
I love to take macro shots of my coral and anything else with alot of detail.
Here are some examples, let me know if you like them as much as i do.

I have plenty more if anyone is interested.
Fish are hard to get because they are so fast, but I have some of them as well.
Unfortunately the max file size does not let me upload super hi res images.
That's my tank!
The sump keeps NH3, NO2, NO3, and Phosphate extremely low.
I had a recent algae bloom as my RODI filtered water shot up to 40ppm, now the slow process of water changes to kill it off with my new filter and 0ppm water.
Leave me a comment saying what I could improve upon or any questions regarding the effectiveness of this setup.
Thanks for reading!
