Hey Guys,
I have been having issues with my Calcium RX for awhile. And while trying to solve the issues I started looking at my Apex Logs.
I have my Apex monitor the PH in my Calc RX to let me know when the tank is empty. But what I have started noticing now, is that the PH in my Calc RX is fluctutating and following the pH in my reef system.
At night when the pH drops, the pH in the Calc RX drops as well. And then during the day the pH goes back up again.
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this when monitoring their Calc RX. Have you done anything to narrow the movement in the Calc RX.
I am in the process of buying a new Regulator and was thinking of getting a dual stage with two outlets and two solenoids. And have the second outlet, as a boost to add more CO2 during the day when the pH of the system comes up?
Anyone else had this issue? Thought of a solution? Worried About it?
I recently started using the Dastaco media, which requires a steady 6.0 ph to burn correctly. So I am focused on trying to keep things a little more stable.
Thoughts ?
