Yup get yourself an Ato top off.
A lot of it will depend on the surface area of your tank and how much it evaporates.

The smaller the tank, the more fluctuation there will be. Honestly, an ATO is the best $100 you will spend on this hobby, otherwise, yes, you need to top up every day which quickly gets tiring, and is a problem if you want to go away for a weekend or longer. .3 fluctuation every day is not good IMO, we try to keep everything as stable as possible.. Good luck

I have a 36 gallon tank with a solid plastic lid with just a 1.5" feeding port and small clearance gaps around equipment and wires. Even with this, I top off daily (manually). It's only a couple of pints at most, but it matters. My next equipment purchase is definitely going to be ATO. If my tank was smaller and/or I had no cover, I would have bought one already. Stability is everything in this hobby, and salinity stability has to be one of the most important forms!

I highly recommend getting yourself a TUNZE Osmolator nano. It is one of the best purchases you can make
