What are some of the more unique looking staghorn acropora out there? I’m looking to add one or two to my tank.
Thanks,
Matt

What color are you looking for? Pc rainbow is a classic and very hardy. Picking up a stick of it today. Otherwise my knowledge of acros is limited compared to others so if I misidentify one I apologize, but Cali cali Stag, Oregon or turquoise tort, frag farmer red Robin, etc are all pretty. And green slimer is a classic, neon green and quick growing.

These are awesome suggestions guys, some that I hadn't hear of too! I'd love to get a battle shaggy stag in there, forgot about red robin too. I'll have to google the TSA piece.

Adam of BattleCorals has great frags, size quality, healthy and he will custom an order for u esp if u want stags. He will reply to your messgaes.
Yea, definitely going to check him out once I have some more acro under my belt. I just got my first pieces 13 months in - pc rainbow, frag farmer red Robin, garf bonsai, and hawkins echinata ( most nervous about this one).

Don't want to hijack op's thread though. I'm sure some long time stick heads have some easy favorites they'll keep suggesting :)

Hawkins enchinata is one of my favorites. Amazing coloration under whiter lights.

Greg Carroll Ultimate Stag (Tyree Ultimate Stag)
Robin Red Stag
Lime in the Sky

Nice blend there.
Great list, jda. I think I could source these locally too. Lime in the sky is the stag structure I was looking for too. I bet that one still looks great under a whiter spectrum.

If your considering growth form I would say these are the most unique of bunch of staghorn that I love.

- hoeksami
- Horrida (not a true stag but close)
- Abrohlosensis
- Abrotranoides
- Latistella
- Nobilis
- Cerivonis
- Gemmifera is superb looking and is a little short for a true staghorn but I had to put a digitate acro besides abro in the list
- Formosa and yongi too but they are fairly boring if you been in the hobby for a while. But still have some rare really colorful ones mainly the all blue ones are the hardest to find and most unique.
