2.5 months in a few more pics.
Still need to hook up apex and run a new outlet.
About 30 corals all growing. Same fish count except added frogspawn and clown which it hosts. Cleaner shrimp too. All corals and clown came

Update. Tanks stable and all corals growing.
Coralline has exploded since carx came online.
Current t5 order
Front to back:
C+
Actinic
B+
C+
Purple
B+
C+
B+
Actinic and purple come on 15 min before and after the c+/b+.
Had to remove cherub angel a few months ago as it started nipping corals and they were stressing.
Fish list
6 blue/ green chromis
Lawnmower blenny
Pajama cardinal
Clown
Convict tang
Yellow wrasse

3 pepermint
1 fire
1 cleaner shrimp

3 emerald crabs
2 brittle stars from live rock quarter size
Various snails

Been removing asterinas over the last week every morning. Around 70 so far. Has put a good dent in them.
Here is a stick growth pic.
So far happy with the system.

Hey you're tank looks awesome. I saw your post in another thread about coral growth and it makes me realize how much I have been needing to dose and test to get good growth.

I was basically doing water changes every 3 weeks to a month and it wasn't cutting it... so I am doing kalkwasser now.

Did you ever consider using kalk? Or straight into 2 part? I have the alkalinity component of 2 part available so would only need to get the calcium if I swap from kalk.

I dosed esv 2 part for 2 years on my nano. I dosed same on my 120 for about 6 months. I now run a carx.
I dose the same trace for the carx as I did for the 2 part if you missed it on another thread its this.
Esv strontium once a week.
DSR trace daily.
I only run 1/4 teaspoon kalk per 5 gallons in my ato. It will not do anything for cal and alk but has a ph of 10 and for me helps keep ph higher than 7.9. My house is closed most of the year either running the heater or ac.

I test for, and log alk? 1 or 2 times a week as its fast and lets me know everything is inline.
Carx makes it so I only test for cal and mag once a month if that as its stable if alk does not change.
I run man made media in my carx so it only replaces cal and alk.
Test for potassium, iodine, strontium once a month.
I use DSR trace and the EZ formula for dosing. The difference is I run a carx instead of 2 part.
And no water changes.
Many ways to run a reef. My advise to anyone is research pick a method and keep it stable without changing things all the time.

Here is a better FTS from the couch a minute ago. 9 months in no water changes. Did add another b+ & c+ for a total of 4b+ 4c+. Tried a couple of actinics but I like the 4&4 look better.

Yep just filter sock and skimmer.
Once a month suck out detrius from bottom. I do run 3 liters of eheim substrate pro in a mesh bag in my sump. May help keep no3 low.
No3 1-2 its never been over 2.
Po4 .02-.06.
Feed pretty heavy 3-4 times a day.
I run carx and dose trace elements. Pretty basic sump.

Is that a yellow coris wrasse? How’s he doing bare bottom? Do you have a bowl of sand?
He did fine for 3 months with no sand. 3 days ago he found the feed cutout on my eggcrate and went surfing.
Cats chewed off his head.
How is it that they find the one spot that is open?
