Hey guys, so a week ago I got a rock from a live rock tank from my LFS. Today there are starfish EVERYWHERE! I counted 6, there could be more. (Gives me the creepy crawlies) can anyone ID them for me and tell me if they're harmful to my tank and what I should do about them?!

I love them. Send em to me:D

There are so many species of micro brittle stars it seems hard to find an exact ID on most of them. They are safe, feed on detritus, and particulates in the water. If you see the arms sticking out, they're "fishing".
