Hey guys,

mom looking to order a blue linckia starfish and was wondering how to go about a quarantining process? I’m very familiar with fish quarantining but not inverts. Snails I usually rinse and drop in. Shrimp I’ve never quarantined. Any advise would be appreciated.

It is very difficult to take care of. I would advise not to buy it.

+1 on that. If you do decide to try one you just rinse it with tank water. No QT.

Even if I hand fed it a couple times per week? I used to feed my pink urchin back in the day. Would place a piece of shrimp or a sinking pellet next to him till he maneuvered over it to eat.
