Can someone tell me what I did? I am receiving alerts every 5 to 10 minutes.

On the bottom you can turn it off so your not getting alarms all the time and can set specific alarms for certain things.

I would not recommend turning the email alarm "OFF." That would stop the notification of all alarms. The reason why a "Set Off" alarm occurs is because something is going to an alarm state (like your optical sensor on your FMM or your temperature) and by the time the alarm actually sends that sensor is no longer in an alarm state. It is best to find out what the sensor is near an alarm state and correct that issue (maybe move the sensor up about a quarter inch or adjust your temperature to alarm .1 to .2 degrees higher/lower).

Finally, one option is to also add a "DEFER" statement to your email alarm out. A defer statement will prevent an outlet from going to an on(or off) state for a specified period of time. For example, if you click on the gear on your email alarm outlet and after all the other lines of programming add:

Defer 0:30 Then ON

It will say, "Only go to an 'on' state if that 'on' state is true for more than 30 seconds". So, in the example of your optical sensor the water level would need to be above the sensor for 30 seconds before the alarm would be triggered. Please also be aware the defer statement will apply to ALL conditions of the email alarm outlet. So all alarms would be delayed from triggered for about 30 seconds or so.

Thank you. Will that stop getting all alerts or will I still get alerted if temp or salt goes out of whack?

Thanks Paul. I guess that’s my problem. Not sure what’s setting it off. Everything looks normal to me. What is SW3_1?

I have seen this notification that "Alarm is Off" and most of the times I know what alarm it is talking about. The problem is that sometimes I see it and have no idea what was causing an Alarm.

My question is, how do you tell it to send a different message for each alarm going off using the App.
For example on the Aquatronica I will get a SMS message that "My pH is Low" or "The Power Is Out". I get that with that on Apex but on the Aquatronica when the alarm is cancelled because the parameters returned to Normal I Get Messages like "pH Alarm is Off" or "Power has Returned". With the Apex I just get a generic message "Alarm is Off"

Email is not all that useful to me because I have so many emails coming in on my phone that I only look at them when I have time. With Aquatronica SMS or the Neptune App messaging It gets my attention as soon as it comes in.

So I figured it out. My protein skimmer cup Had overfilled and the alarm went off and I never reset it. Just wanna thank Neptune systems for the 1000 alerts I’ve gotten. Better safe than sorry.

At this point I am assuming the lack of responses are an indication that "Alarm is Off" is the only response the Apex can generate. I can see where this could be a major issue. There have been a couple of occasions on my Tank where a single event triggered several alarms. It would be nice to get distinct messages for each parameter that comes back into range.
