Stay away from Deep Blue Carbon

I wouldn't have a worry about iron causing a problem, but other metals that might be in whatever it is could be, IMO, a bigger concern.

FWIW, many people, myself included, dose iron. :)

Yea deep blue emailed me saying that it the metal might not gotten pick up from their process.

On an other note seachem matrix is not magnetics just like rox I been using it since I switch and so far so good

wow, this is scarey with all the carbon users out there
-any idea what type of metal that is in it
-that's not carbon (TM)
that's some man made stuff that "looks" like carbon...

On the deep blue the pieces that rusted where hard I tried cutting it with a diagonal cutter and it snap in half like metal but the pieces that was regular carbon they would just crumble
