Have you talked to your galvanizer on what they need for drain holes and air escape holes?
Yes. Two holes 5/16" opposite each other on each section will do he said. Another thing. Is solid pine wood good to put between stand and aquarium, apart from the styrofoam? Or marine plywood is better? Thanks

That is good. Sometimes designing to be hot dipped can be a pain ie have to make covers for holes.

Plywood would be more stable then solid. I just used 3/4 birch plywood with primer and topcoat.

Galv is certainly the way to longevity, cost here is rather prohibitive, my company cost is $550/1000 lbs then of course driving it there etc. we did just build a truck rack, that was all galv.
