FYI a few weeks ago Eye Catching Coral had some stereo frags that they called "thistle corals" for sale. Its a whole sale site, but whole sale cost was around $12 per frag so check up at your local stores. If they bought any then they most likely would be selling the frags for around $50.

Also watch out as I have seen an online store that seems to have realized it was a stereo and now has a frag for sale that is on the same plug as the eye catching coral ones, but they are trying to get $350 for something they most likely paid $12 for lol.

A couple “thistle corals” popped up on corals.com a week or so ago. The photos weren’t great but good enough for a likely ID so I took a chance and ordered a couple. They turned out to be stereos, one purple (darker than koji wada) and one yellow with purple polyps. I just checked this morning and they are out.

yup! saw that too! corals.com had a "normal" price too. I think they had them for $50 per? For myself I sometimes help a local store on the side, so sometimes i get to help out with ordering and when i saw those thistle corals i bugged them until they ordered 10 lol! I snagged 5 for myself, the others sat for about 1 week and then someone realized what they were and bought us out of the other 5. Decided to post when i saw one website trying to sell one of them for $350........ I get stores need to make a profit, but wow..........

Also the purple ones seemed to be pretty rare with what eye catching had!!! out of the 10 that we ordered, only 1 had the purple trunk/stem so that was def one of the ones i grabbed!!

FYI some of the 'thistle coral' frags are back up on Corals.com on sale for like $38 or so. All yellow. Looks like they had another purple but someone jumped on it quick lol.
