Stichodactyla mertensii verrucae

They mount their foot on top of rock just like giganteas. They don’t like it in a cave or hole. The entire column and back side of the disc is sticky. The rock could be by the sand bed. As long as it’s ideal water flow they will be happy.

Here is a rare shot of it as it was moving across the bottom glass to get to a new location. Then went up the rocks

Thank you for the quick reply. Do they need MH lighting or will high wattage LED lamps be adequate?
 
High watt LED will be good, 5K spectrum, but make sure flow and foot provisions are good, and it will do well using LED.
