Not with that tank being small unfortunately. Most of the expensive fish you would be looking at need at least a 125 or so. Whats the fascination with the price of the fish?

Would a gem tang be ok, or is that pushing it

Also gem tangs are too big for your tank

Uh no. Gem in a 50 gallon is not okay. You really should research fish needs and requirements for your specific tank not just looking for the most expensive fish as I said earlier not many of those expensive ones can go in your tank
