im breaking my stock tank questions in separate threads so questions don't get missed / lost.

i have the rubbermaid 100g stock tank that I am using for a sump.
i'd like to use the existing drain plug hole, but convert it to accept a 2" pvc pipe for draining / water change purposes. I won't be using a pump, but rather let it gravity drain. not sure how slow that'll be. I'd be draining about 40 gallons of water through the 2" pvc.

I am not sure how to modify and what pvc fitting are required in order to accept a 2"pvc pipe on the outside.
can anyone walk me through this? I youtubed some of the leak issues people have, but i can't find anything that shows how to modify for pvc.
