Stocking list for IM Nuvo 100g

Hey all,

I’m working on the stocking plan for my 100-gallon Innovative Marine Nuvo EXT mixed reef. I’ve already added two small ocellaris clowns. I’m aiming for a low to medium bioload with peaceful to semi-aggressive, reef-safe fish.

Here’s what I’m planning, along with the rough order:

Month 1–2:

• Tailspot Blenny or maybe a dartfish
• Royal Gramma

Month 3:

• 3x Lyretail Anthias (1 male, 2 females)

Month 4:

• Midas Blenny

Month 5:

• One Spot Foxface

Month 8–9:

• Captive-bred Mandarin Dragonet

Current fish:

• 2 Ocellaris Clownfish

I’d love feedback on:

• Compatibility of the Tailspot, Midas, and Foxface
• Timing of the additions. Can I stock faster?
• Other fish I should consider
• Any general red flags

Seems ok doing 2 fish a month is fine. Save the mandarin for like month 10.

Yes sounds like you planned well, although i do agree on waiting at least 10 months, 12 would be great. Make sure to dose plenty of pods the entire time leading up to the introduction of the Mandarin. Not only will they help battle new tank syndrome, it'll take a lot of the pods even in a hundred gallon tank to keep up with only a single mandarin. They graze non-stop and I find myself having to replenish my tank with pods regularly. Hope this helps, Happy Reefing!

Unsure about the midas and tailspot getting along, hit and miss with blennies together. Usually they dont like other blennies

Seems like the consensus is it’s a pretty good plan overall just wait a little longer before adding the Mandarin.
Clown seemed to be doing well but it’s almost comical how small they are in such a big tank all alone. Might look to add a royal gramma or fire fish this week.

I’ve got the clowns, royal gramma, and tailspot Benny all in one photo. Any considerations for what type of anthias might be best or alternatives I should consider? Looking for some bright active swimmers.
