Stomatella did something weird

Just saw my stomatella climb high onto a monti cap and spit puffs of "smoke" into the water column. Any ideas? Trying to spawn?

But seriously, thats pretty cool it is is spawning! Those guys are awesome. Wish my wrasse didnt eat EVERYTHING in my tank....

Lol yeah nothing like that survives in my tank either due to wrasses unless it's in the sump [emoji3]

i just saw my first stometella in my tank today. freaked me out, but now i'm seeing a bunch in my refugium. must of come on my sea lettuce and cheato.
