Anybody used these powder coated steel racks as stands?

The dimensions fit perfect for the lowboy tanks at 48"x24"x36" height. It says each shelf is able to hold 1800lbs and 50 gallons of water for the lowboy frag tank should only weigh about 500lbs.

Can even add a 40 gallon breeder sump at the bottom

I've used similar racks to hold vivariums (much lighter than aquariums) and a bump can get them swaying. It's worse full of water. Once it starts swaying with water the force produced increases as does the swaying. The problem is that the shelf brackets often have some play in them. I'd be nervous. At the very least I'd weld some cross bars in for reinforcement and scrap that particle board for marine plywood. If you have kids or large dogs in the house, I'd stear clear. You can build a rack just as sturdy and far more stable of the same dimensions with 2x4 lumber for cheaper than what that likely sells for.
