Had this happen to alot of zoas I wounder why they melt after cut?

It is stressful for them to be cut. That in combination with other stressors can be enough to send them over the edge. Also they become
vulnerable to infections.

this is my back up frag. I've had the strats for 6-7 months now and barely sprouted a second polyp whic is this one for back up. Mine is so slow grower but hardy since I have heard that they are very sensitive to fragging. This frag was cut 3 weeks ago already and both seems to be doing fine.
