Hello,

I was cleaning my stream 3 and I noticed that there is some copper inside where the magnet goes, it's not exposed (yet)?

Is this normal for a stream 3?

The impeller doesn’t touch the pump body. I don’t think this will ever wear down

It does seem to have a nice smooth coating, even over the wire's black insulation.

The inside of a Stream 3 is clear, the copper is visible as a result, logically if the copper was actually exposed to water it would be green in very short order.
Sorry for the late reply but I don't got a notification.

I know copper would turn green in the water but I wasn't sure I saw this before so maybe the inner tubing was wearing down, better safe then sorry.

Thnx
