Stringy black thing from torches

So I looked at one torch and saw stringies. I turkey baster blasted it off pretty easy. I thought maybe the wrasse dropped a brittle star or something

But the next torch over also had the same thing.

Again turkey basted it off

Here’s what it looked like


I did cipro a few months back for BJD and my prior torches all are fine, these are newer but already in for a few months post cipro

They do this as the photo period is coming to an end? I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before and it was on two of them lol
