Unfortunately it sounds like it wasn’t effective. Are you sure the clown ate the food? I’d re-treat.
yes i am very sure they ate. but i can remedicate again for another 10 days. i was dosing every other day for 3 weeks.

Try food soaking prazi this time around. (Or API General Cure contains both prazi + metro.) Sometimes prazi can be more effective if it is just tapeworms.

I was doing a water change today and did find a small reddish looking worm in my qt tank.. never seen any type or worms in over a month I have my 2 clowns. I can take a pic later and post it but could the worm come from the fish?

This didn't come out of your fish. It's some type of bristle worm or something similar. Post the picture in the hitchhiker id section to see if it's the desirable kind or the kind that turns into a monster.
