Struggling Hammer

I added this toxic splatter hammer two weeks ago. I think flow has been too much for him. I have him in this spot now which seems to be the right amount of flow. He’s been there 24 hrs but still really closed up. How long should it takes before he adapts? I’m super nervous about losing him. He’s right next to a really happy Duncan. So I feel like it’s probably a good spot.

Give it a little more time. I’ve had them in much higher flow than that. They don’t like a super amount of light though.
