LOVE me a Stylophora - unfortunately just lost my all time favourite pink S. Pistillata.

However I do have an amazing pistillata which has a pink base with green polyps.

Grew out a healthy sized green pistillata from a frag in my old tank but neglected to transfer it due to a bubble algae epidemic.

Also had an S. danae, a rainbow one apparently, but that was in my tank when it was a mess and lost that

I have two stylos in my 14g nano under a Kessil A160WE. One of my if not my favorite coral.
This is the blue, it used to be darker but I am working on getting some nutrients back in the tank.

Top down, pumps off shot of both, with a forest fire digi in the back and you can jyst see my pink and green pocillopora damicornis in the front.

Beautiful. I used to have a purple and a blue. The purple remains. RIP the blue one.

I used to have a purple milka stylo frag. I killed it with too much light and too much alk. First ever SPS, I chalk it up to learning experience. I'm still new so I don't claim to know what I'm doing, but so far that little tank looks good.

I brought one home from R-A-P NY a week ago, and though _it_ seems to be doing well, my tank seems to be blooming with bacteria or phyto or something. Looks like someone poured the better part of a quart of milk in there.

The one I have (wish I had a good photo to share!) has a pink body with pale tips like the ones on the purple stylos - but these tips are yellow - and its polyps are sky blue. _Really_ nice little frag!

I have a stylo that is green tips with pink branches.

IMG_2641.JPG

Is that a Stylophora or a form of Seriatopora? Its branches are so slender, I've always thought of it as a birdsnest. Got one at Reef-A-Palooza last summer, and it's probably tripled in size since then. Nice fuzzy little guy. There is one branch that always seemed a bit ... shabby, and I was worried about it. Then I discovered that's just where one of my hermits sleeps.

Finally, after a few trials and tribulations, I've got that photo; It _may_ be a Milka, or something similar:

The photo makes the polyps look a tad more purple than they do to my eye, and loses the yellow in the tips entirely.

Also have a Tyree Rainbow Stylo in the tank now ... It looks a lot like the awesome ones up above, but ... smaller.
