Stylophora Placement Question

Hello all, I recently got a stylophora frag that is placed about an inch and a half away from a monti cap. Will this placement cause issues in terms of aggression? Thank you

They should be fine - but the monti will probably outgrow the stylo at some point in the not too distant future - so you may have to move one to avoid them coming into contact with each other.

The stylo is going to mostly grow towards the top and that Monti is going to grow (maybe faster) to the sides and it will probably win when it comes into contact with the stylo. There won't be chemical warfare but the Monti will eventually start to smother the stylo.

Stylophora’s have sweepers. The lights are off in my tank right now, but I’ll post mine once the lights are back on. Stylo’s are really aggresive.
