Substrate for tanks 150-200 gal?

Hopefully I will be going to a larger aquarium soon. Curious what you guys with the large aquariums use for substrate and why. Currently using sand for my 75 and 55 gal tanks. It will be a non-predator tank stocked with corals and fish.

I'm bare bottom in my 84x30x25" tank . I've been a total failure at keeping sand looking clean so i gave up except on small tank when I need it for inhabitants.

Lol, yeah, my 75 had sand that looks ok for a week after I clean it. But it always looks bad underneath. Was thinking maybe crushed coral rock or other type of rock.

I've read of people using reborn calcium reactor media but have no first hand experience. Its larger than crushed coral and looks better IMO because of the difference in sizes of the media.

Haven't heard of anyone using that. But, I will look into it for sure. Wanting to be able to clean easily and that looks promising, thank you!
