Success to Reef Keeping?

patience is up there for sure. not much instant gratification in this hobby. when I finally stopped always touching stuff I had a big improvement in the health of the tank. I stopped constantly having my hands in the tank and trying to fiddle with things. of course its just a tiny part of everything for me

I second patience and keeping my hands out (which is really hard for me). I'd also add broadcast feeding like there's no tomorrow with everything from probiotic bacteria and phytoplankton to bigger, meaty foods so that everything in the tank has a chance to eat.
