Hi so i want to DIY liverock, but I cant find any White Portland... Ive tried the grey one but it looks too unatural. Anyone knows which other type of white cement I can get for the DIY?

Once you get algae growing on it, will it matter what color it is underneath?

I have no suggestions on white cement, sorry.

I wouldn't worry about what it looks like, like others stated it'll change. Either algae, coralline, or coral, stuff will discolor it eventually.

Yup as said above, don't stress the color. I have had diy rock in the past. Looked great once it colored up.

Cement rock is not even remotely the same as "live" rock. Do this for decoration but don't calculate it in to your live rock plans for tank filtration as it will provide almost nothing in that area.
