Suggestions for automated water changes

I have been giving some serious thought to automating my water changes. I have seen the Renew system, and have heard about using the Liter Meter to do it. I would like to hear from anyone using these methods, or anything else similar. Is it worth the money to automate, or should I keep lugging buckets? I would like to hear pros and cons. Thanks in advance.

Do you know which model Stenner pump he used? I just checked online, and there are quite a few different models.
