Suggestions for phytoplankton / copepod air pump

Hey guys,

I know this is only tangentially related to breeding, but I thought you guys would be uniquely qualified to offer suggestions. I have had moderate success culturing phyto and copepods. The air pump I'm using is kind of loud and annoying. More importantly, I don't feel like I can easily clean it or change the filter, so I'm concerned that it is a source of contamination that is infecting my phyto cultures.

Can you guys offer suggestions for good-quality air pumps that can be cleaned and maintained?

IMO any air pump from amazon with a dial to control the air flow should work. I use the cheapest one's I can find and have no issue's with my cultures. Not sure what you mean by "easily clean it or change the filter", air pumps have no filter and I've never cleaned them before.

I have 2 of these and they have worked well for me.

The pump I have discolors the hoses to a brownish over time. It also has a small intake filter. I was hoping for something I could disinfect. Maybe I'm just assuming that is part of my problem. Most of my cultures do well but my isochrysis has been difficult to keep clean.
