Suggestions on a metal halide setup for a reefer 170

mh people, what would you suggest for a metal halide option for a reefer 170? I havent seen much new or used for a setup for a smaller cube like this. I'd like to setup a new tank soon. Been in on and off for 20 years. I've ran 400w radiums most of that time. I really love the look. I've been looking at led and I just dont care for it much. I don't want to make this a led vs mh thread. Just looking for some opinions on a setup for this tank metal halide wise that will enable me to use a radium or a bulb similar. I dont plan on doing a heavy coral load, but like the option to add anything down the road. I was thinking maybe a 175w de or maybe 250se? Been thinking about looking for a giesemann 24"

i agree its very hard to find MH set up for that size tank. I went with a Hamilton Caymen 150 watt pendant for my 32 gallon. I've only had it a week, so not comment so far, but its an option for a smaller tank.

(I previously had the coralife 150 watt clip-on that I bought in 2006, but they don't make those anymore, too bad)

Geisemann makes a 150w nano fixture that should work perfectly! You can buy it on their website.

Reefbrite has a great metal halide system to fit that tank. Hamilton bulbs are available and Phoenix bulbs I think most likely. I would go with a 250 watt, double ended bulb like that.
My current 60 cube has a Hamilton Cayman Sun reflector and an IceCap ballast. 14k Hamilton bulb with LED bars. I love the looK.

Hamilton 150 is what I ran on my 20g nano cube around 6 years ago.
Going to setup the aio 20g nano again with the same fixture and run 14k bulbs. I got 3 @ $20 a piece.
Old nano.

Newer aio.

Unfortunately there is basically only one company producing metal halide fixtures in US for aquariums at the moment: ReefBrite.
