I have a KHD Director and using Sulfuric acid for reagent. Seems like I get weird results, maybe I should try Hydrochloric? seems like I cant ship Hydrochloric acid to a residential address. Any suggestions?

If you have the proper (same) concentration, it cannot matter.

0.1N what it says on bottle. Do you see any bad things if dumping back into tank?

Adding the titration effluent back to the tank is like adding a small amount of zero alkalinity seawater. It will have a small pH lowering effect, and alk lowering effect. How much depends on how much you dump back to the tank each day.

Whether any impurities are an issue will depend on the purity of the HCl or H2SO4 you are using. neither chloride nor sulfate is an issue in this context
