I have a red se 425xl. I plan to convert my sock section to allow for a reef mat. Would like to take the opportunity to clean the sump by removing it and deep cleaning. This would require unscrewing the plumbing connections on the return snd drain. My concern is that the seals would not be as leak proof once they are unscrewed. I remember reading something about not breaking the seal when I installed it originally. Anyone have any experience with it? Thank you.
