Hello - I'm finally getting around to drilling my 75 gallon tank and considering doing a DIY sump using one of the Fiji Cube baffle kits - however I'm not sure which size I should go with (40 breeder 29 standard or 20 long).

Should I really go as big as will fit in my stand? If I use 100% of the space I can fit a 40 gallon breeder or I could free up some extra space by going smaller. Any thoughts? Also, If I were to bight the bullet and go with something pre-made does anyone have any recommendations?

I’d go as big as you can fit in the space, assuming you are able to get to all parts of it for maintenance. Local glass shops can cut baffles, if you don’t want to go with a kit.
