In order to get the right flow that I want through my UV Sterilizer (inline from my return) my tank turnover rate will be like 7-8 times per hour. Is that too much?

Yep….1.5” drain

It’s a built in internal overflow built by Glass Cages….not sure if that matters.

What size tank and what return pump are you using? Flow charts are often highly inaccurate once you factor in elbows and other plumbing schematics.

Ask glass cages about the pump size/ turnover rate.

No. Triton Method for example recommends 10x flow. 7-8x is not too much on a factual basis.
