I have two extra 10 gallon tanks. I was planning on drilling them and creating a fuge and a frag tank. I would pump from the sump to the fuge, them overflow to the fuge, overflow from the fuge to the frag tank, then overflow from the frag tank to the sump. I don’t see any issues with overflowing etc, but what about the biology? Would this be a good setup? For the feed from the sump to the fuge? Would I want that before or after the skimmer in the sump? What size pump would you think for this setup? My DT is 125 gallon long, and my sump is 30 gallon. Thanks for any thoughts and insights!

Hey there,
Depending on your head pressure, I would place a 300ish GPH pump with a regulating valve in your return section of the sump. This pump would feed directly into the FRAG tank, which would overflow into your refugium, which overflows back into your return section. Atleast thats how I would do it.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
