Changing out old sump and putting in Triton 44 during install discovered bulkhead leaking
it had cracked needless to say install not going very well had to order new bulkhead be couple of days so right now only gyre and mp40 for flow

Nothing is ever easy in this hobby... **sigh**

Sorry for your troubles. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end! Do you have a bubbler you could add in for gas exchange? Or else be sure to aim a pump or two at the surface?

well went to put 44 sump in skimmer wont fit octo 200 nt too big any suggestions want to do triton but i have to put skimmer in first aera which is for refruim any ideas

Get a different skimmer is one option, but likely not a good one for you.
Do you have the space to run an external skimmer? I don't even know what's involved in this, to be honest, but it might be an option for you...

What about making your own sump from a smaller tank, this way you can size the space to fit your needs.

I custom built my sump with a kit off eBay..I put it together to match my equipment measurements...

just bought Triton sump need to make it work probley just have to buy new skimmer
